KentFaith Concept Tripod Review!

·

Introduction

Here I have my Kentfaith tripod that the company kindly gifted me to review. There are three main things that I am going to talk about today. We have; The build and aesthetics of the tripod, a comparison between a budget I used to use from Argos and this more expensive one from Kentfaith, to see if it is worth spending some extra money on your and my experiences using this tripod. I also have some excellent discount codes at the bottom of the page if you decide you want this tripod.

The KentFaith Tripod

Let’s start this review by talking about this tripod’s features. I will begin by listing the main features and writing about each.

As you have seen in the photos, the colour of the tripod is black with orange accents. Another thing about the tripod is that all of its features are very easy to use. Another thing to note is that all the moving parts move very fluidly and are not stiff at all.

  • 28mm Large 360° Ball-Head and Panoramic View With two independent control knobs. The specially designed ball head can rotate 360 degrees- allowing you to take good-quality photos at any angle.
  • Convenient: From 18’’ to 79’’ Flexible Adjustment 4-section column legs with three quick-release flip-locks. This allows you to adjust the working height from 18’’ to 79’ in seconds. Winner in height!
  • Lightweight and Portable. Weighing 1.44kg and 18″ folded size makes it easy to carry. This tripod is the best companion for your cameras and can withstand a heavier load compared to similar products on the market. Furthermore, if it’s not stable enough, there is a hook to which you can add weight. This will help with sturdiness.
  • 2-IN-1 Overhead Monopod. The tripod can quickly turn into a monopod or walking stick to make your photography more diverse. Multi-angles for low-angle and high-angle shots are also capable with this monopod.
  • Multi-angle Shooting Centre Column can turn to invert situations for low-angle shooting; The damping system of the ball head would set your camera at different angles easily to get the best shot.
  • Retractable spikes. The tripod has spikes in the feet, which you can get out when shooting on mud and soft surfaces. This ensures the tripod is extra sturdy and won’t topple over.
  • Tripod Comparison

Tripod Comparison

For this review, I will compare my Kentfaith tripod to the cheaper one I got from Argos. I will give you my honest comparison on whether or not you should buy the Kentfaith tripod or stick to a budget one.

As I stated earlier, the Kentfaith tripod has many unique features. “Is it worth paying for one, or should I just buy the cheapest one I can find?” you might ask. In short, it is worth paying the extra. However, there could be good reasons to go with the cheaper tripod. For example, my Argos tripod does the job that it is supposed to, it keeps your camera held up when taking photos which you may think is all you need, but you’d be surprised how much more there can be to a tripod which would be very beneficial to you…

Kent Faith Tripod

When buying a tripod, you want one that is sturdy and won’t fall over in a bit of wind, which the Argos one didn’t hold up very well; I now have scratches and a crack all over the plastic on my lens after going out to get some astrophotography shots in the wind. I was so angry that the tripod was so unsteady it fell over with just a tiny gust of wind. The Kentfaith tripod is sturdy; its feet can stick into the mud to give it extra stability. After this happened, I decided that I had to upgrade, and a cheap tripod was not for me; I decided to upgrade there and then and never use the Argos tripod again.

Budget Tripod

The only thing you can do with the tripod I got from Argos is stood it up (with no wind). So, if you only want bare photos, the one I got from Argos will do. However, I do recommend any other type of photography. You invest in a more expensive one.

My Opinion Of The Tripod

I’ve only had the Kentfaith a short time, but I already think it’s a great tripod. This tripod is fantastic. I mentioned before it is so sturdy, and even in high winds, it holds up. As a hiking photographer, this is so important to me as it can get windy while on the side of mountains.

The other thing I love is how lightweight and compact the tripod is. Hiking for miles, you want all your equipment to be as light and compact as possible. You do not want to carry a big heavy tripod on your back that is weighing you down the whole time.

Finally, would I recommend this tripod? I absolutely would. This tripod has all the features that I was looking for. This may be for you if you are looking for a good-quality tripod. If you want the tripod, you can get it on Amazon or the Kentfaith website.
