Lowe Alpine AirZone Pro 35:45 Review

·

The Lowe Alpine AirZone Pro 35-45 rucksack is perfect for any time of the year. It is ideal for hikes due to the breathable back system, which means wearing it for a long time, you won’t get as hot and sweaty as other bags. Along with that, the rain cover is perfect for… well, rain.

One of my favourite features about the Lowe Alpine AirZone Pro, and what sold it to me, was the breathable back system. It is made in a way that the bag sits off your back. This means that by wearing it for a long time, your back won’t get hot, sweaty and uncomfortable compared to many others on the market. After trailing it out for some big hikes, I can confirm it works well, and I would hate to go back to an everyday bag that sits on my back for hiking.

This backpack has many attachment points on the outside. You will be able to attach: axes, poles, rope and a helmet. Pretty much everything you need for a quality day out in the mountains. The storage inside is even better.

Inside the main body of the Lowe Alpine AirZone Pro, you have a big top compartment and a smaller compartment at the bottom which can be opened up to make the main space even bigger by loosening the cord. You can get to the base using a zip on the low outside the bag. For this reason, I have my emergency supplies in the bottom compartment, so I don’t have to look through my whole bag in an emergency.

The bottom compartment is reserved for my first aid kit, survival bag, torches, and things so I can find them quickly. You can also put some essentials in the top tip pocket on the top of the bag, such as snacks, a compass, etc.

The main pocket of the Lowe Alpine AirZone Pro I use for any other gear I may need to carry. Such as layers, food etc. Pretty much everything else I decide to carry on that specific day.
