I’ve had the Revolution Race Nordwand Trouser for about two years and thought I should write what I think. Even though they aren’t advertised for winter, I got them. I have worn them down to -10 with wind chill before.
These trousers are pretty heavy-duty and thick. I believe this is helpful when it gets cold, but the bulkiness is not ideal compared to some others on the market.
They also have a crampon protection patch on the inside leg. This is essential for walking with crampons on to save you from ripping the trousers if they catch. Along with that, I also like the trousers’ colour and pocket/ storage space.
Would I recommend these Revolution Race trousers? Yes. Are they slightly overpriced? Yes. From that, make your own decisions, if you can get a discount on them, I recommend it. If not, you can. Others are better at that price point.
