High Force, County Durham
High Force is a breathtaking sight, with the River Tees plummeting 21 meters over a huge limestone outcrop. The waterfall is located in a steep-sided gorge and is surrounded by beautiful countryside.
Location: Forest-in-Teesdale, Barnard Castle DL12 0XH, United Kingdom. There is a car park located nearby, accessed via a minor road off the B6277.
Aysgarth Falls, North Yorkshire
The Aysgarth Falls are a series of three waterfalls on the River Ure, each with its own character and charm. The Upper Falls are the smallest but are still a beautiful sight, while the Middle Falls are the most dramatic and powerful. The Lower Falls are the widest and most tranquil and are a popular spot for picnics and relaxation.
